Math's Master Indiegogo Campaign

I have just established a campaign at Indiegogo to fund a program called Math's Master. This is planned to be an updated and expanded version of the classic educational software Multiplication Master. The funding goal is $1500 and the campaign runs until 4/1/2013.

Math's Master will feature not just multiplication, but addition and subtraction as well. This new version will have a range of new features designed to ensure that children will want to keep playing and learning for as long as possible. These new features will include:

*Unlockable achievements.
*Fun animations to immediately reward correct answers.
*A range of new entertaining and kid friendly videos to reward answering 20 questions correctly.
*Math's Master will also feature the same general game mechanics as Multiplication Master but it will have a redesigned interface.

Multiplication Master version 2 is coming

I've already begun planning for version 2 of Multiplication Master. I intend to make a few changes to the program. The biggest of these will be the addition of achievement badges. I intend to put in the following badges:

• Bronze Badge - 100 points
• Silver Badge - 500 points
• Gold Badge - 1000 points
• Platinum Badge - 5000 points
• Diamond Badge - 10000 points

The badges will give my users an additional incentive to keep using the program. I also intend to increase the number of videos shown from 50 to 100. More information about the next version of Multiplication Master will be provided closer to the release date which at this stage is expected to be by the end of April.

Multiplication Master now on Simtel

Multiplication Master has been accepted on Simtel. It has also been submitted to 30 other software download sites. This will ensure that it is widely available for download.

Multiplication Master Minor Update Tonight

Multiplication Master will receive a minor update tonight bringing the program up to version 1.01. The only change in this update will be to change the webpage displayed when opening the program. At present a blank page is displayed. The update will change this to the help page.

Multiplication Master

I originally wrote Multiplication Master for my children over a decade ago to assist them with learning their times tables. The source code for this program was unfortunately lost sometime over the past decade. Given that I have an 8 year old who is currently learning his times tables I decided that now was the perfect time to resurrect this project. After much hard work I have completed version 1.0 of the new Multiplication Master.

This program will quiz your child with randomly generated sums from their times tables. As a reward every 20 correct answers a video is shown. My son loves using this program as he enjoys working towards attaining the next video. I'm certain that other children will enjoy this program as much as my son does. I'm releasing Multiplication Master as Donationware. Multiplication Master can be downloaded here.
